Great article! Your story of letting go of the fear and shame created by the church, organized religion, and well-meaning (hopefully) Christians is inspiring. I love the new freedom you are realizing.

It is interesting how leaving the place that is supposed to have the monopoly on God is a doorway to experiencing the Divine in greater and more expansive ways. I have had a similar experience with leaving church and I hope encounter more of the liberation that you have experienced.
