I remember the first time I heard Pete Enns say this phrase - it was a paradigm shift for me. For so long, I though there was THEOLOGY and then other minority views of theology, like Liberation Theology, Feminist Theology, etc. When he said that phrase, I realized that what I was calling theology should have been called White-Protestant-American-Middle Class-Mostly Male Theology ...or something like that. It was very freeing to see it through a different lens.

Thanks for the time writing this article - a great argument for a different way to approach the Bible.

I was a pastor for 14 years. Now that I have left the church, I love connecting with others who are reimagining their faith for a better world!
